Google Chrome Browser Beta, first impression
After the news broke yesterday with a comic about the long expected Google browser today is the day the first Beta could be downloaded and tested.
The install is fast and easy, so far so good.
The user interface is plain and simple as you might expect from Google and and it feels very natural. There is no clutter and everything is easy to understand.
One of the first things I noticed is the incredible speed compared to other browsers, it renders pages like a formula 1 car. Of course there are no plugins installed like I have in Firefox and I was wondering if there where any developer tools for Chrome yet because I simply need those.

, I said I was just testing but was missing a developer toolbar. He shouted Inspector
and I started looking around until I found it, right click on a page and choose inspector. There's some serious developer related info under that option, great!
So far I'm very impressed with this Beta browser, lets see what the future brings.

I just tried Chrome for my computer accessory site and am loving it! You are right, blazing fast compared to even Firefox. Unfortunately I'll have to stick to FF for most things because like you mentioned, there are just so many plugins I can not give up and find useful. I suppose as chrome becomes more widespread and popular their list of plugins will increase too, hopefully even some new ones.
